Run a socio-emotional programme for children living in orphanages

The children at our partnering orphanages lost their parents and homes to a tsunami before being relocated to Batam. Alongside the local caregivers who love and raise them, we hope to offer a programme of socio-emotional support that walks with them as they grow.

Come and serve with us through a six-session programme running from November 2026 to April 2027. Each visiting team will take on at least one session as part of a missions tag-team, so that the children experience a programme that is complete, regular, and continuous. 

Come ready to listen, learn, and build friendships with the children, and to serve in whatever ways they and their caregivers find helpful.

Estimated cost: $200 (inclusive of transportation by ferry)

- Registrations in teams of at least 6 adults are preferred. Individuals may join existing teams if there are slots available.

Dates, location, cost and nature of trip may be subject to change. In the event that the trip of your choice becomes unavailable, you will be invited to join another project.

There is a separate non-refundable $10 (GST inclusive) charge that covers registration fee and other incidentals. 

This fee is waived for participants going on another trip within the same calendar year. 

Participants are required to attend pre-trip meetings (which will be arranged by the team leader about 1.5 months before the trip). 

Cru Asia Limited reserves the right to withdraw any participant from a #GO trip.
