Connect with the local communities along the western coast of Central Japan. Engage in meaningful conversations through various outreach activities, conduct lessons in a Christian school and lend a hand in the renovation of the church building. There are many opportunities to serve depending on the unique skills and gifts of each member in the team.
Estimated cost: $1,000 (non-inclusive of airfare)
Requirements: All first-time trippers are welcome! Japanese language proficiency not required but would be a bonus.
Good-to-have: Have experience in building (e.g. putting flooring and walls)

*Dates, location, cost and nature of trip may be subject to change. In the event that the trip of your choice becomes unavailable, you will be invited to join another project. There is a separate non-refundable $50 (GST inclusive) charge that covers registration fee and other incidentals. Participants are required to attend pre-trip meetings (which will be arranged by the team leader about 1.5 months before the trip).
*The $50 registration fee is waived for participants going on another trip within the same calendar year.
