Much disaster relief and recovery work is needed ever since the Noto Peninsula 7.6 magnitude earthquake on January 1. There have been more aftershocks since then.
Join us to offer practical support to communities in need, through manual labour and various serving opportunities depending on the needs at hand. If you are available for an extended duration, you are welcome to join multiple teams - write in to let us know!
Estimated cost: $750 - $900 (not inclusive of airfare)
Requirements
Good to have but not compulsory:
International Driving Permit (IDP)
Basic conversational Japanese (not required, but would be a bonus!)
Must have:
Willing to stay in simple accommodation and use Japanese public bath for daily showers (note: final decision on type of accommodation will be made as a team)
